ST. ANNE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH OF FAYETTE

A Beautiful History Serving our Savior

St. Anne's of Fayette was established in 1950 as a new parish under the direction of members from the St. Joseph Parish of Port Gibson, Mississippi. Founder and Father Athanasius Goode, successor of the late Father Lynch, was succeeded a lot of land that he utilized along with financial contributions of the Tully Family to build the profound New Parish. This New Parish developed into what we hail today as St. Anne's Catholic Church. St. Anne's Catholic Church was dedicated to St. Anne, the mother of the Blessed Virgin, in memory of Anna Tully, John Tully's mother, by Bishop Richard Gerow on December 10, 1950. It has served its members in a philosophical capacity sharing strong connections and messages that bring together members and supporters through the divine spirit of Christ.
If you would like to review or share information about the many years of history that have influenced the development of St. Anne, there is a printable link with a complete account of our church's history linked below.
